Location   The Stanford Terrace Inn is located in Palo Alto, facing the southeast end of Stanford University. It is one half mile from Page Mill Road where many leading Silicon Valley companies such as Hewlett Packard, Varian and Roche Bioscience, to name a few, are located, and walking distance to California Avenue, featuring many shops and restaurants of varying cuisines. Downtown University Avenue and Stanford Mall are a short drive away.

Description   The Stanford Terrace Inn is a boutique hotel decorated Tuscan style. All rooms underwent a two million dollar renovation which was completed in 2002. It is extremely popular with visiting professors, corporate travelers and parents of Stanford students.

Accommodations   80 over-sized, deluxe rooms, Two Executive suites, 12 junior suites, 10 Allerfresh rooms and 56 queen/queen-queen/king rooms. Three are ADA approved.

    • Dining Services   The Stanford Terrace Inn offers a deluxe continental breakfast. This extensive breakfast includes a waffle station, fresh bagels and fruit, yogurt, berries and a variety of cereals, along with coffee, assorted teas, and juices.

    Meeting Facilities   The Stanford Terrace Inn has one meeting room. It is ideal for small receptions, board meetings and classes. There are two inner courtyards that can also be used for a variety of functions, such as dinners for up to 80 people and receptions for up to 200 people.

    Ownership   The Stanford Terrace Inn is managed by Waterford Hotels and Inns. It is owned by Stanford Manor LLC. The three general partners are long time Palo Alto residents, Leonard Ely, Rich Kelley, and Maggi Pringle.
